GOSSIP

A social crisis game that moves at the speed of rumor.

GOSSIP is a single-player mobile social simulation game that drops you inside a friend group at the exact moment everything starts to unravel. A rumor, a sighting, a leaked screenshot, a suspicious post: each scenario begins mid-crisis, and you navigate the fallout through private messages, social media, and shifting alliances.

Inside The App

Messages, receipts, and a feed that never stays quiet.

Scenario Design

The crisis is already alive when you arrive.

GOSSIP does not hand you a neat binary choice tree. It drops you into a reactive social world where characters know different things, loyalties are unstable, and information mutates as it moves from person to person.

A casual comment to one friend may come back hours later in distorted form through someone else. A screenshot can become proof. A joke can become motive. What you hide matters as much as what you say.

Partial knowledge No one has the full picture, including you.
Portable evidence Private messages can stay private or escape into the group.
Live social pressure Posts, reactions, and side chatter keep moving while you decide.
Emotional logic Loyalty, paranoia, intimacy, and performance all reshape the story.

How It Plays

You don't pick from options. You participate.

Rather than moving through a fixed set of choices, you speak directly into the situation, deciding what to say, what to hide, who to trust, and when to escalate.

1

A rupture starts the chain

A rumor, leaked screenshot, suspicious post, or bad sighting puts the friend group into motion before you ever type your first reply.

2

You manage the spread

You move between private threads and public-facing surfaces, trying to contain fallout, redirect attention, or weaponize information yourself.

3

The group rewrites the story

Every interaction changes what other characters believe, repeat, and react to, so each playthrough becomes a different social autopsy.

What Makes It Different

Gossip is the system, not just the subject.

GOSSIP combines narrative design, social-platform mechanics, and generative AI into an ongoing drama engine that feels less like a branching story and more like being inside a live group chat while the narrative is still forming.

Different people hold different truths

Characters have uneven access to facts, context, motives, and receipts, so every conversation starts from a different reality.

Private talk can become public force

Side chats can calm the room or become evidence that changes the group hierarchy when they leak.

The feed shapes the room

Public posts do not just decorate the world. They pressure characters, frame perceptions, and keep the crisis socially legible.

Generative AI personalizes the fallout

Each run develops differently based on player behavior, character relationships, and the evolving chain of rumor and reaction.

Modern social life is the design material

Intimacy, performance, paranoia, loyalty, and misread tone are not side flavor. They are the mechanics driving the tension.

The drama keeps moving when you hesitate

A delay, a soft reply, or silence itself can change how events are interpreted once the rumor reaches someone else.
