These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between Stratara Ltd., an Israeli company, company registration number 517197182, with its registered office at Dan 14, Ness Ziona, 7412110, Israel ("Stratara," "we," "us," or "our"), and you.
These Terms govern your access to and use of the GOSSIP iOS mobile application, including its story content, AI-generated characters, AI-generated media, subscriptions, and related services we make available through the app (together, the "Services").
At sign-up, GOSSIP presents a checkbox labeled "I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy." That checkbox must be selected before any sign-in or account-creation call to action becomes enabled.
By selecting that checkbox and creating, accessing, or using your account, you agree to these Terms and enter into a binding agreement with Stratara. If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not use GOSSIP.
We retain records of the date, time, and version of the Terms you accepted.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and process personal information. It is separate from these Terms and is available at:

These Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are between you and Stratara only, and not with Apple. Your use of GOSSIP through the Apple App Store is also subject to applicable Apple usage rules, Apple Media Services terms, App Store terms, and Apple's standard end-user license terms.
If these Terms conflict with a non-waivable Apple requirement or usage rule that applies to GOSSIP, the Apple requirement or usage rule controls to the extent of that conflict.
GOSSIP is offered to consumers in many countries. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights, statutory warranties, remedies, local forum rights, small-claims rights, collective-redress rights, or other protections that cannot lawfully be waived under the laws of your country, state, province, territory, or other place of residence.
This includes non-waivable rights that may apply to consumers in Israel, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, India, and other non-excluded markets where GOSSIP is available.
For California residents, this includes non-waivable rights under applicable California consumer, privacy, AI-disclosure, and companion-chatbot laws, including the CCPA/CPRA and California companion-chatbot requirements to the extent they apply.
You may use the Services only if you are at least 17 years old, or older if the law where you live requires a higher minimum age.
If you are under the required age, you may not use the Services. Stratara does not serve or market GOSSIP to users under 17.
If you are 17 or older but not legally an adult where you live, you may use GOSSIP only if your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf, if local law requires that consent.
GOSSIP includes mature fictional themes and may not be suitable for some users even if they satisfy the minimum age gate.
GOSSIP is available through the Apple App Store in countries and regions where Stratara makes it available and where Apple permits distribution.
GOSSIP is not offered in the following jurisdictions:
If you are located in one of those excluded jurisdictions, you must not access or use the Services. Stratara does not intentionally offer GOSSIP in those jurisdictions.
Availability may also depend on Apple App Store availability, local law, device compatibility, payment support, language support, technical limits, and third-party service availability.
When you first launch the app, you must provide your date of birth through the in-app age gate. Users who do not meet the minimum age requirement are blocked from account creation.
You must provide accurate age and registration information. If you give a false date of birth or false registration details, that is a material breach of these Terms. We may suspend or terminate your account, block access, or take other action we consider appropriate.
You agree to:
You may not sell, rent, transfer, or share your account with anyone else.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity that happens through your account, except to the extent caused by our own failure to use reasonable security measures.
If you believe someone accessed your account without permission, contact us promptly.
You represent that you are not prohibited from using the Services under applicable law, including export control, sanctions, consumer protection, platform, or local age-restriction laws.
GOSSIP is a single-player iOS drama and gossip simulation. You play a fictional character in a fictional friend group dealing with an ongoing fictional crisis. The experience includes:
GOSSIP is designed for entertainment.
GOSSIP is not:
You do not interact with other users inside GOSSIP. There are no user-to-user chats, no multiplayer features, and no community posting features.
As a general rule, your full conversation history, AI-generated images, screenshots, and game progression are stored locally on your device, not in a cloud archive maintained by Stratara for gameplay continuity.
That means deleting the app, changing devices, clearing app storage, restoring your device, or reinstalling the app may result in the loss of locally stored story content, images, screenshots, or progression.
GOSSIP is not a backup or archival service for your story history.
Subject to these Terms, Stratara grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to download, install, access, and use GOSSIP on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial entertainment use and only as permitted by applicable Apple usage rules.
This license does not give you any ownership rights in the Services.
Except to the extent applicable law does not allow the restriction, you may not:
Your license ends automatically if these Terms end or your access to GOSSIP is terminated.
GOSSIP contains AI-generated and AI-assisted content. Character dialogue, fictional social content, images, avatars, screenshots, and similar material may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence.
That content is synthetic. The characters in GOSSIP are software-generated fictional characters. They are not real people.
GOSSIP includes operational AI-disclosure surfaces inside the app.
An "AI content in this app" link appears on the name-entry screen. An "About this app" item appears in the settings menu. These open a modal explaining that:
These disclosures are part of the Services and may be updated as the Services or applicable laws change.
Stratara pre-authors the scenario structure, world, and guardrails for the game. AI systems then generate responses and media within those structures.
Because AI systems are probabilistic, outputs may be:
We do not promise that any output will always make sense, stay in character, or remain factually correct.
The AI characters are software, not humans. They are not your friends, therapists, doctors, lawyers, financial advisers, crisis counselors, or emergency responders.
You must not rely on any AI character or any AI-generated content in GOSSIP for:
If you think you may hurt yourself or someone else, or if you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency services right away.
If you are in the United States and want support for suicide, self-harm, mental-health, or substance-use crisis, you can call or text 988.
If you are outside the United States, contact your local crisis line, emergency number, or emergency services.
Stratara does not use your prompts, messages, or any AI-generated output associated with your account to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine-learning model operated by Stratara or any third party.
We may change, add, remove, or replace AI models, model versions, image systems, or service providers as part of operating the Services. We do not promise that any specific model, model version, or provider will remain available.
In these Terms, "User Content" means the content you submit through or in connection with GOSSIP, including:

As a general rule, Stratara does not maintain a complete server-side archive of your conversation history for gameplay purposes. Most story content remains on your device. But if you submit a moderation report, contact support, or otherwise send us material directly, we may keep the submitted material and related records.
You represent and warrant that:
You may not use GOSSIP to submit, request, generate, or attempt to generate content that:
You also may not use the Services to create fake evidence, deceptive impersonation content, or other material intended to mislead people about a real person or real event.
We may monitor, block, refuse, limit, disable, remove, or stop the processing of User Content or outputs if we believe it is necessary for safety, legal compliance, platform compliance, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or enforcement of these Terms.
We do not guarantee that content you submit will always produce an output, and we may stop or restrict generation without notice where needed.
You retain ownership of your User Content to the extent you own it. But to operate GOSSIP, you grant Stratara a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, process, adapt, display, and otherwise use your User Content only as needed to:
This license is strictly operational. It does not authorize Stratara to use your prompts, messages, or account-associated output to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine-learning model.
We may allow our service providers and processors to exercise this license only on our behalf and only to the extent needed to provide, secure, moderate, support, or host the Services. We do not sell this license and we do not grant it to unrelated third parties for their own independent use.
This license lasts only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, except to the extent we need to retain records for legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, fraud prevention, or other legitimate operational reasons permitted by law.
As between you and Stratara, you retain whatever rights you may have in your User Content.
Stratara and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services and all related intellectual property, including:
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any Stratara material to you.
Subject to these Terms, applicable law, and any third-party rights, Stratara grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, view, save on your device, and display output generated for your account for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment use.
This license lets you make ordinary personal-use copies and screenshots. It does not let you:
Because AI systems may generate similar or identical results for different users, you agree that other users may receive the same or similar output, and that such similarity alone gives you no claim against Stratara or any other user.
We do not guarantee that any output is:
Any use you make of output is at your own risk, except where applicable law gives you non-waivable rights that cannot be limited by these Terms.
Stratara uses automated and manual trust-and-safety measures to help keep GOSSIP within its intended content boundaries and platform rules.
These include server-side filtering of prompts and outputs for categories such as:
No safety system is perfect. We do not guarantee that all prohibited content will be blocked.
GOSSIP includes a reporting feature for AI-generated messages. Users can long-press an AI-generated message and submit a report through the in-app moderation flow.
When you do that, we receive the reported message content and related information needed to review the report.
Reporting does not guarantee any specific action by Stratara.
Because most story content is stored locally on your device, Stratara does not promise to store or manually review all conversations.

We may prioritize reports that appear to involve child safety, self-harm, suicide, impersonation, explicit sexual content, threats, or other serious legal or safety risk.
We review reports in the ordinary course of business and may prioritize them by seriousness. We do not promise any specific response time, individual reply, or outcome.
All purchases in GOSSIP are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Stratara does not receive or store your full payment card information.
By purchasing a subscription or other digital feature in GOSSIP, you are entering into a billing relationship with Apple under Apple's purchase terms. We may validate your subscription status with Apple before granting or continuing paid access.

Prices may vary by country, currency, tax treatment, Apple pricing tier, promotional offer, and App Store display. The App Store purchase screen shown at the time of purchase controls if it displays a different current price, currency, name, term, or package.
References to "unlimited" mean there is no preset ordinary-consumer quota for that feature tier, but all plans remain subject to these Terms, safety systems, abuse prevention measures, technical limits, and service availability.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings under your Apple account subscription settings.
We do not control Apple's billing systems or renewal mechanics.
We may change subscription prices, features, quotas, names, packaging, or availability prospectively.
If we do, we will provide notice through Apple, the app, email, or another legally permitted method, as applicable. Any future billing at a new price is subject to Apple's processes and applicable law.
Refunds for App Store purchases and subscriptions are handled exclusively by Apple. Stratara cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. If you want billing to stop, you must cancel the subscription separately in iOS Settings.
Deleting your account may end your access to GOSSIP even if Apple billing continues until you cancel or until the current paid period ends.
GOSSIP does not offer a free trial at launch. If we offer a free trial or promotional offer in the future, separate terms may apply at the time of the offer.
We may make operational changes to the Services at any time. These can include:
Where reasonably possible, we will apply material reductions to paid features prospectively rather than mid-cycle, but we may act immediately if needed for safety, legal compliance, platform compliance, or technical necessity.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give you clear notice before it takes effect.

For a material change, we will present the updated Terms in a renewed clickwrap flow and ask you to re-accept them.
Your continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance only if:
If you do not accept the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services. If you have a subscription, you must cancel it separately in iOS Settings.
We maintain records of accepted Terms versions for each user and will keep an archive of prior versions of these Terms.
GOSSIP is an entertainment product built around fictional, synthetic content. AI-generated output may be wrong, offensive, incomplete, repetitive, emotionally manipulative, or unsuitable for some users.
The Services are not designed or licensed to provide medical, legal, financial, mental-health, crisis, or emergency advice.
We do not promise that safety filters will catch every prohibited or unwanted output. Some content may still be upsetting, inaccurate, or inappropriate.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES, ALL OUTPUT, AND ALL RELATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, available at any particular time, compatible with every device or iOS version, or free from loss of locally stored content.
Some countries, states, provinces, or territories do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Some also give consumers statutory guarantees or remedies that cannot be excluded or limited.
In those jurisdictions, the disclaimers above apply only to the maximum extent allowed by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a non-waivable statutory consumer guarantee, warranty, remedy, or right that applies to you.
If GOSSIP fails to conform to an applicable warranty that cannot lawfully be disclaimed, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, paid for the app under Apple's applicable policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to GOSSIP.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STRATARA, ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR LOCALLY STORED STORY CONTENT, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Stratara, its affiliates, licensors, service providers, and suppliers for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable law.
This includes any non-waivable consumer rights and, to the extent applicable law requires, liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
If local law requires a different liability standard, mandatory warranty, statutory guarantee, remedy, or liability floor, that law controls to the extent required.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and reimburse Stratara, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents for reasonable losses, damages, judgments, settlements, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of a third-party claim or government inquiry to the extent caused by:
This Section does not require you to indemnify Stratara for claims arising primarily from output generated by Stratara's systems where you did not violate these Terms or the law.
This Section also does not apply to the extent a consumer indemnity is prohibited or limited by mandatory local law.
You may stop using GOSSIP at any time. You may also delete your account at any time from the in-app settings.
Account deletion is permanent with respect to Stratara-side account data associated with that deletion request, subject to any data we are legally required or permitted to retain.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to some or all of the Services if:
Where reasonably appropriate, we may use graduated enforcement, such as warnings, feature limits, prompt blocking, or temporary suspension.
But we may act immediately, including without prior notice, where we reasonably believe there is an emergency or serious risk involving:
If we suspend or terminate your account for a moderation, safety, or policy reason, you may request one review by sending a written appeal to [email protected] within 30 days after the action.
Your appeal should include your account email and a short explanation of why you think the action was incorrect.
We will review appeals in a reasonable timeframe, but we do not guarantee a response, reinstatement, or any specific outcome.
Sections 4 through 17, and any provision that by its nature should survive, will survive termination of these Terms.
These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
This choice of law does not limit any non-waivable consumer protection, statutory warranty, local forum, small-claims, class-action, collective-redress, language, electronic contracting, privacy, platform, or other mandatory rights that apply to you under the law of your country, state, province, territory, or other place of residence.
Subject to Section 15.4, you and Stratara agree that the competent courts located in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms.
The selected court level is the Tel Aviv-Jaffa District Court.
Before either party files a court claim, that party should first try to resolve the dispute informally by sending written notice to the other party.
For notices to Stratara, use the legal-notice email in Section 16. Your notice should describe the issue, the account involved, the relief requested, and how to contact you.
This informal process does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or taking action where delay could cause harm. It also does not limit any non-waivable limitation period or local consumer right.
If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose laws give you non-waivable rights to:
then those rights are preserved in full and prevail over Sections 15.1 and 15.2 to the extent required by that law.
Examples of jurisdictions whose mandatory local rights may need to be preserved include:
The United Kingdom is listed as an excluded jurisdiction in Section 2.2. If UK law is nevertheless found to apply, or if Stratara later makes GOSSIP available in the UK, nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable UK consumer, online safety, language, privacy, or digital-services rights.
These Terms do not waive any right to participate in a class action, collective action, representative action, public-interest action, or similar proceeding where that right cannot lawfully be waived before a dispute arises.
Nothing in this Section 15 prevents either party from seeking temporary, preliminary, or injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction where reasonably necessary to protect intellectual property rights, confidential information, account security, safety, or against unauthorized access or abuse.
These Terms do not include mandatory U.S.-style arbitration.

As between Stratara and Apple, Stratara is responsible for responding to user questions, complaints, claims, and support requests relating to GOSSIP.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional terms presented to you for specific features or purchases form the entire agreement between you and Stratara regarding GOSSIP.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent allowed by law.
If a court or regulator finds a provision unfair, unlawful, or unenforceable under a mandatory consumer law, the provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent needed to make it lawful, unless applicable law requires a different result.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable consumer right that applies to assignment or transfer.
If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.
Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
You agree that we may send notices, disclosures, and other communications electronically, including by email, in-app notice, or by posting them through the Services or on our legal pages, where permitted by law.
You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using GOSSIP, including Apple's applicable terms and your wireless data service agreement.
